That's a very good question, and the short answer is... It depends!

If you're planning on doing a lot of water activities then yes, Summer is best.

But if you're planning on visiting the many waterfalls and rain forests in the area, then Spring is much better as there will have been plenty of recent rainfall, but the weather is very pleasant.

A romantic getaway would no doubt be enhanced by a cosy open fire, so Winter has its benefits too!

There's no 'bad' time to visit, but the summer months would suit the younger crowd, but a crowd is what you'll get! It's very busy!

My tip... October to Early December or Late February to April for the best of everything.
